First, you need to start In Google Tag Manager:
- Create new triggers
- Select "Triggers"
- Click "New"
- Select Pencil icon to edit "Trigger Configuration"
- Select "History Change" and save
- Select "Page View" and save
- Create a new tag for Google Analytics
- Select "Tags"
- Click "New"
- Select Pencil icon to edit "Tag Configuration"
- Select "Google Analytics: Universal Analytics"
- Select "Page View" for Track Type
- Check "Enable overriding settings in this tag
- Enter you Google Analytics ID for "Tracking ID" - ex: UA-XXXXXX
- Select "More Settings"
- Select "Fields to Set"
- Enter 2 new fields
- "allowLinker" as the field name and "true" as the value
- "cookieDomain" as the field name and "auto" as the value
- Select "Cross Domain Tracking"
- Under "Auto Link Domains" enter the domains you want to link as a comma separated list. For example, "myrvs.com,checkout.wheelbasepro.com"
- Set "Decorate Forms" to "true"
- Select Pencil icon to edit "Triggers"
- Select "History Change" trigger
- And then Select "Page View" trigger
- Submit and publish your changes
In Wheelbase:
- Go to integrations page (https://dashboard.wheelbasepro.com/account/integrations) and enter Google Tag Manager ID - ex: "GTM-XXXXX"
