Security Deposit funds are indeed collected, and the renter's card is charged. The funds will be held by the payment processor, Stripe.
The funds are held until one of the following occurs:
- You select MANAGE SECURITY DEPOSIT and select one of the options (hold, claim, refund)
- 7 days pass from return date of the booking without any action taken (the system will automatically refund the security deposit 7 days after check-in).
