Follow these steps to add a card "on-file" to a renter in your system. This will allow you to select that card from the drop down box then next time you click on MAKE PAYMENT for that renter's quote or reservation. 

The first step is to get to the "Customer Profile" in Wheelbase. You can do this by
a.) searching the renter's name in the search bar at the top,
b.) clicking on their name from the Customers tab in the main menu on the left, or
c.) clicking the "View Profile" under the renter's name when looking at their reservation

  1. Navigate to the renter's profile in Wheelbase

  2. Click on the PAYMENT METHODS tab

  3. Click ADD A PAYMENT METHOD

  4. Enter the card information

  5. Select ADD PAYMENT METHOD

Note: you will not be able to add a credit card to a customer’s profile in your Wheelbase if you are using your own external payment Gateway. This functionality of adding a payment method to a renter’s profile without processing a transaction is only available when utilizing Wheelbase’s payment processor, not a 3rd party payment processor.
