Outdoorsy's cancellation policies are as follows;
Flexible:
Free cancelation for 48 hours after booking, as long as it is cancelled more than 14 days before departure.
If the renter has paid in full and the booking is canceled more than 5 days prior to booking start date; 100% of the booking total is refunded.
If cancelled less than five days prior to booking start date: 75% of the booking total is refunded.
Moderate:
Free cancelation for 48 hours after booking, as long as it is cancelled more than 14 days before departure.
If the renter has paid in full and the booking is canceled on or more than 7 days prior to booking start date; 75% of the booking total is refunded.
If canceled less than seven days prior to booking start date: 50% of the booking total is refunded.
Strict:
Free cancelation for 48 hours after booking, as long as you cancel more than 14 days before departure.
If the renter has paid in full and the booking is canceled more than 14 days prior to booking start date; 50% of the booking total is refunded.
If canceled less than 14 days prior to booking start date: insurance is refunded, 0% of the booking total is refunded.

Example #1 - Moderate policy in place. Booking total of $1000. Reservation deposit of $250 paid. Renter cancels more than 7 days prior. No refund needs to be issued.
Example #2 - Moderate policy in place. Booking total of $1000. Reservation deposit of $500 paid. Renter cancels more than 7 days prior. Refund of $250 needs to be issued.
Example #3 - Moderate policy in place. Booking total of $1000. Reservation paid in full. Renter cancels more than 7 days prior. Refund of $750 needs to be issued.
*Insurance/protection package cost is also refunded in full for any reservation that is paid in full.
*When an Outdoorsy.com reservation is cancelled, the system will automatically refund the renter any eligible refund based on the cancellation policy you’ve selected.
*Only refunds for cancelled bookings will be automated, any other refund will need to be processed by you following the normal steps.
