Why do I want to use this setting?
Prior to this update renters were still able to reserve a vehicle for less than the minimum days/nights, but would pay the same amount as a reservation created for that minimum amount of time. This is because Wheelbase / Outdoorsy will still show your vehicle to these renters, but ask them to pay the full amount of your minimum. Now, you have the ability to allow renters to request a booking for less than the minimum amount of time, without charging the full amount. This setting relies on a period of time you set to allow.

Where do I turn on the setting?
You'll find this in your Reservation Preferences page, after clicking on Account Settings.

As seen in the image above, you will have the ability to allow requests to be submitted if the booking is departing within a specific number of day/nights. You also have the ability to opt out of receiving these requests by selecting "Do not allow" in the drop-down menu. If a renter does not meet this criteria, they will be forced to pay the amount that corresponds to your minimum days/nights setting.
What if I use InstantBook?
Reservations for less than your minimum nights will come through as a booking requests in your Quotes page, under "New & Pending". You will need to confirm this booking on your end by using the green "Complete Reservation" button in the top-right of the booking page.
What if I don't use InstantBook?
Requests will be allowed to be sent for the price/dates that are less than your minimum. Previously it would force the request to use the price of your minimum.
How Do I Know if a Request is Less Than My Minimum?
We leave you a banner at the top of the reservation page, letting you know! Here's what it looks like:
