Key Metric Definitions
Total Projected Gross Revenue
This is the sum of all booking totals for the selected period. It reflects the true gross figure for your filtered bookings.
- Includes: Rental amounts, add-ons, total taxes, and renter service fees.
- Insurance & Services: The report now highlights a specific breakdown: "Includes [Amount] in insurance & services," which sums both system-provided and custom insurance/services.
- Cash Revenue: The tooltip for this metric now displays the specific portion of revenue attributed to cash payments.
Total Net Revenue
This represents your actual “real-time” take-home earnings. It is calculated as the sum of payouts issued to date (linked to filtered reservations). Keep in mind that the net revenue number reflects your net payout amount after platform fees and taxes are deducted.
Total Gross Revenue (Calculation Logic)
To understand how the system reconciles these numbers, use the following formula:
Gross Revenue = Payout + Fees (Host/Guest/Processing) + Taxes
Sum of all booking totals including:
- Insurance
- Taxes
- Services
- Any applicable cash revenue
Average (AVG) Trip Cost
The average cost is now a comprehensive reflection of all booking value.
- Calculation: Total Projected Gross Revenue / Total Reservations.
