To ensure you can publish your vehicles and so your rental business can receive payouts, you must provide your tax information by uploading a W9 through your Outdoorsy Profile. This process links your legal tax identity to your Wheelbase account so funds can be transferred securely to your bank.

Step-by-Step Instructions
There are two notifications for your W9. First is this pop-up when you log in:

Navigate to your Outdoorsy Profile by clicking either of the 'Fix now' links shown above. Once logged into your Outdoorsy page, go to your 'logo' on top right and select 'Account' then select 'Taxes' tab — this will direct you to 'Edit My Tax Info' option to complete the required fields:
Enter Taxpayer Details On the Outdoorsy tax page, enter your legal name (as it appears on your tax returns), your business address, and your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) or Social Security Number (SSN).
Upload the W9 Document Locate the upload field and select your completed W9 file (PDF or image format) from your device.
Submit and Verify Click Save or Submit. The system will flag your account as "Verified" once the document is successfully processed.
Note: Wheelbase does not withhold or manage taxes on your behalf for direct bookings.
